Angel has been given back his last name following Triple H taking over WWE creative. After Vince McMahon resigned, there have been several changes to WWE’s product and characters since Triple H was put in this role.
Angel noted on Twitter that he will be going by Angel Garza once again. He shared photos of himself in NXT when Triple H was still in charge before his health issue last September. He captioned the post: “ÁNGEL GARZA … back @WWE @wweespanol.”
In another post, he noted that it’s a new era for him, and he has new hopes.

The SmackDown star lost his last name last November when teaming with Humberto (Humberto Carrillo) when the duo formed their ‘Los Lotharios’ team. It’s possible that Humberto also gets his last name back as well.
It should be noted that Angel’s name has not been changed back on his official WWE.com profile, although that is expected to change soon.
The tag team hasn’t wrestled on television since the July 8th edition of SmackDown when they lost to Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos.
