WWE star injured, out of action 4-6 weeks

WWE star Xavier Woods revealed tonight on G4’s Attack of The Show live stream that he is injured.

Woods said he was doing a springboard DDT and he ended up injuring his plantaris muscle in his calf. Woods said that he felt good enough to finish the match but he will be out of action for 4-6 weeks.

Woods last wrestled on the 1/7 SmackDown where he teamed with Kofi Kingston to take on The Usos in a Street Fight for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships so that is likely where the injury occurred.

We wish him well on a speedy recovery and thankfully the injury was not more severe. Since he will be out at least a month, that means he will not be part of this year’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
