WWE Star Is About To Get A Major Push

WWE is reportedly expected to begin building the storylines for its next all-women’s premium live event, “Evolution,” this week on television. According to PWInsider, plans for the July event in Atlanta are taking shape, with a significant focus on hometown star Jade Cargill, a potential marquee match with the new Ms. Money in the Bank, Naomi, and the return of a Hall of Famer.

With the event set to take place in Atlanta, PWInsider reports that fans can anticipate a major push for Jade Cargill. As a local star from the area, positioning Cargill in a prominent role is seen as a key promotional strategy to help drive ticket sales and create a strong hometown connection for the show.

The “early word over the weekend,” according to the report, suggests a major match being planned for the event will see Jade Cargill face off against Naomi. This potential matchup is fueled by Naomi’s recent momentum; her heel turn has been a highlight of SmackDown, and she captured the Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase this past Saturday, making her one of the most dangerous and talked-about superstars in the division. Naomi has also recently stated in media interviews that she would be interested in a stipulation match with Cargill.

Following her Money in the Bank victory, Naomi reiterated her ambitions on the WWE Post-PPV Show, stating she wanted to face Jade before eventually challenging for Tiffany Stratton’s championship. A match between the powerhouse Cargill and the newly aggressive, briefcase-holding Naomi at Evolution would present a compelling clash of top-tier athletes. The report notes that booking a winner in such a high-profile match would be an interesting creative decision.

Additionally, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella is scheduled to make her return on tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw. Her return is also in advance of the Evolution event, and she is expected to be heavily involved in the July premium live event in some capacity, adding another major name to the all-women’s show.

The return of the “Evolution” event name is significant in itself, as the first and only all-women’s WWE pay-per-view under that banner was held in 2018 to critical acclaim. Its revival signals a renewed and significant focus on the women’s division for the summer.
