WWE Superstar Jimmy Uso (Jonathan Fatu) appeared in court today for his trial related to his DUI arrest back in July.
The trial was covered locally by WEAR-TV in Pensacola, Florida. Jimmy’s arrest report stated that he was drifting in Interstate 10 at speeds of 100 miles per hour.
He was pulled over by an Escambia County Sheriff and then charged after he failed to take a sobriety test. It was noted in the report that he did not refuse to take the test but he insisted on having his lawyer present.
“Once he eventually started to get out of the vehicle, he appeared to have a hard time with the door handle and opening up the door. He was unable to get out of the vehicle and took a step or two and appeared to stumble, almost into the travel lane,” Deputy Jeremy Meeks said on the stand at the trial.
The jury found him not guilty on the DUI charge, according to WEAR-TV but the speeding ticket will remain on his record.
Now with his legal issues behind him, he can resume his wrestling career. WWE pulled him off live events until he could address his issues outside of the ring. The Usos and Jimmy’s wife Naomi have not appeared on WWE programming since late July.
