WWE presents the Elimination Chamber premium live event tonight from Toronto at the Rogers Centre. This event will serve as the final stop on the road to WWE WrestleMania 41 next month.
One of the matches on tap for the show is Trish Stratus & Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton vs. Nia Jax & Candice LeRae in a tag team match. A few weeks ago, the bout was set up on SmackDown as LeRae attacked Stratton during her WWE Women’s Title defense against Nia. Stratus made the save.
WWE Stats shared an interesting nugget regarding Stratus and her match at this PLE. It stated that Stratus enters this event with a perfect 7-0 record when competing in 2-on-2 tag team matches on Canadian soil. She has worked in matches that have aired on Raw, SmackDown, and PLEs. Some of her partners include John Cena, MVP, Bully Ray, Lita, and others.
Past this event, it’s unclear what the future holds for Stratus and WWE. She worked January’s Women’s Royal Rumble match.
