WWE star explains why he has been absent from shows during the pandemic

WWE gave various wrestlers pushes over the last several months including Riddick Moss.

However, he disappeared from television after the COVID-19 pandemic started. In fact, he hasn’t been seen on WWE Monday Night Raw since the April 4th episode where he lost the WWE 24/7 Championship to Mojo Rawley. With his absence from TV, some fans have wondered what his status with the company is.

It was reported by Dave Meltzer back in May that Moss’s absence from WWE television was not a bad sign for his future and officials hadn’t given up on him.

Moss noted during an appearance on the Spark in the Dark podcast that he was absent from television due to his brother having a compromised immune system, which caused concerns during this time.

“I was having a blast. Then COVID came and everything shut down, especially for me with my personal situation with my brother having cystic fibrosis and living with him.”

Moss talked about how he had to be extra cautious due to his brother’s condition and felt that he needed to protect his family member. Moss did state that he might have overreacted to the situation.

It should be noted that he recently worked an episode of Main Event where he defeated Humberto Carrillo.
