NXT superstar Sol Ruca is not just a double champion; she is now a record-breaking one. The reigning NXT Women’s North American Champion and WWE Speed Women’s Champion has officially become the longest-reigning women’s double champion of all time.
A Record-Breaking Double Champion
This week, Ruca surpassed the 100-day mark for both of her championship reigns. This milestone officially makes her the longest-reigning concurrent women’s double champion, a record that surpasses the reigns of top stars like Bayley, Becky Lynch, and Paige/Saraya. Ruca is only the second superstar in WWE history to hold an NXT and a non-NXT championship at the same time.
A Rising Star In WWE
Ruca captured the WWE Speed Women’s Championship from the inaugural champion, Candice LeRae, during a taping in April 2025. Her reign as NXT Women’s North American Champion began at the Stand & Deliver premium live event during WrestleMania 41 weekend.
The impressive young superstar recently made her main roster debut on SmackDown as part of the build to the Evolution 2 premium live event. With her continued success and record-breaking reigns in NXT, many believe it is only a matter of time before “The Sol Surfer” becomes a permanent fixture on Raw or SmackDown.
