Maria Kanellis, who has been out of action since September, noted on Instagram that she is ready to get back to work. Kanellis has gotten back into shape after giving birth a few months ago but she realizes that it will take work to get back on television since the main roster is so stacked.
In her Instagram post she said, “A Superstar is when a talent meets WWE TV time. I’ll be down in Florida at the beginning of August fighting for that time. Even if I’m doing it with stretched out mommy belly skin and a baby on my hip. I don’t have a college education saved in the bank for my baby girl so momma has to go back to work.”
Her husband Mike has been ready to return to TV and has been working live events since last September. I guess we’ll find out soon if WWE wants to keep them together with the “Power Of Love” gimmick or if creative has separate plans for them. It has been widely assumed that they kept Mike off TV because they wanted to wait until Maria was ready to return.
