It’s a slow news weekend but that is to be expected on a holiday weekend. Here are some WWE news and noted:
Darren Young returned to action on Friday night at the live event in Wichita, Kansas. Young was one of the wrestlers in a battle royal. The winner (Jason Jordan) got a shot at The Miz for the Intercontinental title on the same show. Young was eliminated by former tag team partner Titus O’Neil.
WWE is reporting that Jack Gallagher suffered a cut on his hairline and required stitches after 205 Live. The cut happened during the No DQ match with Brian Kendrick. The stitches will be removed within 10 days.
