WWE Star Reveals He Wrestled Through Ruptured Eardrum During WrestleMania Week

WWE Superstar Karrion Kross recently revealed he suffered a significant injury during the week of WrestleMania 41 last month but managed to compete in subsequent matches shortly after undergoing a painful repair procedure.

In a personal documentary/vlog released on his YouTube channel titled “The Killer,” Kross detailed suffering a ruptured eardrum during his singles match against AJ Styles on the April 15th episode of Monday Night Raw, which was part of the build-up to WrestleMania 41.

The documentary shows Kross undergoing a procedure just days later to repair the eardrum. The footage highlights the severity of the pain involved, as Kross is shown passing out during the treatment before recovering. Despite this setback and the discomfort involved, Kross fulfilled his commitments just days later.

He competed as scheduled against JR Kratos at the GCW Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII event on April 17th, securing a victory. He then participated in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the WrestleMania go-home episode of SmackDown on April 18th. Kross has continued to compete since, including wrestling Dragon Lee in a match taped for WWE Main Event on April 28th (which aired May 1st).

While the injury occurred several weeks ago, Kross’s revelation today sheds light on the toughness required to perform through significant pain during WWE’s busiest week of the year. Kross remains active on the WWE Raw roster, recently delivering intense promos and teasing future directions for his character and The Final Testament faction.
