A preview clip for Stephanie McMahon’s ESPN+ series, “Stephanie’s Places,” has revealed an interesting piece of personal history for a key member of WWE’s dominant Bloodline faction. In the teaser for the upcoming sixth episode featuring Roman Reigns and The Bloodline (airing Wednesday, April 30th), Solo Sikoa confirms his given middle name is Yokozuna. This is a direct tribute to his late cousin, Rodney Anoa’i, who performed as the legendary WWE Hall of Famer and former two-time WWF Champion, Yokozuna.
The name carries significant weight within the Anoa’i family’s unparalleled wrestling dynasty. Yokozuna was a major figure in the WWF during the 1990s, known for his massive size, surprising agility, and memorable run as WWF Champion, which included winning the 1993 Royal Rumble and main eventing both WrestleMania IX and X. For Solo Sikoa (Joseph Yokozuna Fatu), son of Rikishi and younger brother to The Usos, bearing this name connects him deeply to his family’s powerful legacy in the industry.
The episode itself is part of McMahon’s ongoing series where she travels to significant locations to explore the journeys and histories of WWE icons. For the Bloodline segment, McMahon joins Reigns and family members on a yacht in Miami. Future episodes of “Stephanie’s Places” are set to feature Pat McAfee (May 7), The Undertaker (May 14), Triple H (May 21), and John Cena (May 28).
Whose middle name is Yokozuna?! What an incredible trip to the island of relevancy! Thank you to The Bloodline for sharing so much of your culture and stories! #StephaniesPlaces @WWE @ESPNPlus @OmahaProd @WWERomanReigns @WWEUsos @jacobfatu_wwe pic.twitter.com/2NWq7ghYNE
