One WWE star has claimed that he has yet to sign a new deal with the company and that’s former Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy.
Murphy took to his official Twitter account to react to the news that former NXT Tag Team Champions The Street Profits have agreed to multi-year extensions with WWE.
Murphy noted that he hasn’t signed a new contract by writing, “As first reported HERE…. I haven’t….”
Murphy has been in a feud with Aleister Black on Raw with their most recent match taking place at Sunday’s WWE TLC pay-per-view event in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the Target Center on the WWE Network that saw Black go over.
It’s been reported that Paul Heyman is high on Murphy, which is why he has been using him on a regular basis on Monday Night Raw.
As of this writing, there’s no word yet on when Murphy’s deal with WWE is set to expire.
