WWE Raw star Cedric Alexander took to Twitter on Wednesday afternoon and his latest tweet strongly suggests that he is not happy with his spot on the Raw roster.
“Frustrated is an understatement”, the former Cruiserweight Champion tweeted. There is plausible deniability here for those who want to say he is sticking with Raw storylines but it’s worth noting that the tweet comes after Dave Meltzer gave an update on his status on his lack of push.
Alexander lost a match to Angel Garza this week on Monday Night Raw. Several hours later on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that WWE simply has no plans for him and although he’s very talented, they are not calling his number.
Alexander was getting a solid push for a few months last year but that came to a halt when Vince McMahon decided that he needed to be buried. Since that time, Alexander has wrestled on a handful of live events and on Main Event and has rarely appeared on Raw.
When I asked about Alexander, a WWE source told me, “Vince will listen to Paul [Heyman] on some ideas but other times he can be close-minded and he sees nothing in Cedric. Vince gave up on him a long time ago.”
