The holidays are drawing to a close, which means everyone is getting ready to get back to their regular work schedules. That includes WWE Superstars, who enjoyed Monday and Tuesday off this week for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. However, some Superstars’ breaks went better than other’s. NXT star and recently announced main roster call-up EC3 recently took to Twitter to reveal that he has actually been battling the flu over the holiday break.
EC3 noted that he spent his Christmas Eve “violently throwing up,” but offered his well wishes to all his fans nonetheless:
“Merry Christmas to you all. I spent last night violently throwing up with the flu. I hope you have a blessed and charmed day with those you love the most.”

Last week The McMahon Family (Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Shane McMahon, and Triple H) announced that some big changes would be coming to WWE to give fans more of what they want. Those changes include new Superstars coming into the fold, in the form of NXT call-ups. In addition to EC3, Lacey Evans, Nikki Cross, Heavy Machinery, and Lars Sullivan have been named. It will be interesting to see how the group fares once they finally make their debut on WWE’s main roster.
