WWE star says he will donate his pay from Crown Jewel to charity

On Friday, Ali was added to the WWE Crown Jewel show in Saudi Arabia but he’s letting fans know that he will forego his pay for that event.

Ali took to Twitter on Saturday to let fans know that he would be donating his earnings from that show to charity: water, a non-profit organization that helps bring safe and clean drinking water to people around the world.

At WWE Crown Jewel, Ali will be part of Hulk Hogan’s team against Ric Flair’s team. Hogan’s team consists of Roman Reigns, Rusev, Ricochet, Ali, and Shorty G. Flair’s team consists of Randy Orton, King Corbin, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Lashley and one competitor to be named this Monday on Raw.

In the past, several wrestlers have privately expressed objections to going to Saudi Arabia but most of them would end up working on the shows. Names like Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Daniel Bryan have not worked on previous shows in Saudi Arabia. They are not listed on the upcoming card so it looks like they will not be appearing at the next Crown Jewel event.
