WWE star says he's taking an indefinite leave of absence from the ring

WWE 205 Live star Brian Kendrick announced on Twitter that he will be taking a leave of absence.

Kendrick tweeted, "It’s been 3 years since my last #Cruiserweight Title opportunity. Since then, it has become evident that nobody on @WWE205Live understands nor respects the road that I paved for them. Therefore I am taking an indefinite leave of absence from the ring. @WWE #205live"

It's quite possible that this is just a storyline but it's also possible that he is one of several WWE stars who feel underappreciated and are unhappy with their spot in the company. I guess we'll find out soon what is really going on with him.

Kendrick has worked off and on for WWE since 2000. In 2000, he was signed to their developmental system and moved on to Ring Of Honor before being brought back in 2002 until his release in 2004. He returned to the company in 2005 and was released again in 2008 and was brought back for the Cruiserweight Classic in 2014. He was later signed to a full-time contract and moved to 205 Live.

Kendrick lost a match to Mansoor at last week's 205 Live tapings at Full Sail University. He also recently appeared in the 20-man battle royal in Saudi Arabia on WWE Crown Jewel.
