WWE Star Says His “Knee Is A Little Banged Up”

WWE is full steam ahead for next month’s SummerSlam PLE in Cleveland, Ohio. The company’s hot streak continues, as it is doing record business.

However, one star may be on the sidelines due to injury, and that star is Braun Strowman. The former Universal Champion underwent neck fusion surgery last June after being sidelined in May of 2023 before returning in April as a member of the Raw roster.

This past week on Monday Night Raw, Strowman was tossed over the barricade by World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest and immediately grabbed his knee. Ultimately, the match continued, with Priest going over Strowman in the non-title bout. Some fans speculated whether it could be a legit injury or he was just selling.

While speaking on WWE Die Woche, Strowman was asked how his knee felt coming out of Raw. He noted that his “knee is a little banged up” and has a doctor’s appointment to get it checked out this week.

Strowman noted that his knee has been bugging him a little bit, and he’s been a little off-step the last couple of weeks, as there is a little tweak in there. He described the spot when he recalled hitting the top of the barricade and feeling something move in his kneecap. Strowman revealed he had a bruise on his knee at the end of the match.

It’s possible this is purely a storyline-related injury, and he is just selling it. If it’s legit, we will pass along an update.
