WWE Star Says It’s A Disgrace That He’s Not In The WrestleMania 42 Ladder Match

El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) cut a bilingual promo on WWE’s social media calling the WrestleMania Intercontinental Championship ladder match “an absolute disgrace” without El Grande Americano and teasing that “somebody should do something about that.”

El Grande Americano addressed the camera in Spanish before switching to English. “I gotta speak English because a lot of gringos don’t understand, but I want to tell you that all those luchadores are going to compete at WrestleMania. But the greatest one, the biggest legend, El Grande Americano, is not,” he said.

El Grande Americano then ran through the participants in the ladder match one by one while Rayo Americano dismissed each of them. When he brought up Penta, Rayo said Penta “es un fan de Chaparro.” When he mentioned Dragon Lee, Rayo dismissed him as “chiquito.” When he mentioned Je’Von Evans, Rayo said “no cultura.”

El Grande Americano called the Intercontinental Championship match “an absolute disgrace” without him and said somebody should do something about it. “A huevo,” Rayo responded. El Grande Americano closed the promo by saying “vamos a pensar” (let’s think about it) before the two walked off.

The Intercontinental Championship ladder match at WrestleMania 42 currently features Penta defending against Dragon Lee, JD McDonagh, Je’Von Evans, and Rusev. Los Americanos, consisting of El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser), Rayo Americano (Tyler Bate), and Bravo Americano (Pete Dunne), are not currently announced for the match.

The promo could be teasing an addition to the ladder match or an angle involving Los Americanos at WrestleMania. The group has been involved in a feud with the original El Grande Americano (Chad Gable) since Gable’s return at the 2026 Royal Rumble, with the two versions of the character clashing across WWE and AAA.
