It turns out that Finn Balor set a record with his win over Damian Priest at Sunday’s in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University on the WWE Network.
The most wins of one star at NXT TakeOver specials haven’t been something that WWE has recently recognized until now. That didn’t stop fans from keeping track of the record though.
The former NXT Champion now has 11 wins at TakeOver specials. He holds the record for having more wins at these specials than any other competitor.

He entered this special with ten wins over the likes of Matt Riddle, Samoa Joe twice, Johnny Gargano, Kevin Owens, Tyler Breeze, Neville in singles matches while he holds wins over The Accession when he teamed up with Hideo Itami in two matches back at the 2015 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic in addition to Balor and Samoa Joe beating The Revival and Baron Corbin & Rhyno.
NXT Champion Adam Cole and former champ Aleister Black are tied for second place with the 7 wins. The chart below hasn’t been updated, but you can see the current rankings here.
