Another major inter-promotional dream match has been added to the lineup for the upcoming Game Changer Wrestling/Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIV event. WWE superstar Pete Dunne is set to take on independent wrestling standout Jonathan Gresham.
Pete Dunne vs. Jonathan Gresham Set For Bloodsport
The match was officially announced for the August 2nd event, which takes place in Rutherford, New Jersey. This will be the first time the two acclaimed technical wrestlers have shared a ring since they faced off for PROGRESS Wrestling back in 2018.
A Stacked Card For August 2nd
The bout joins an already loaded card for the unique, shoot-style wrestling event. It is one of two major crossover matches, as WWE’s Natalya is also scheduled to compete on the show against TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich. The updated card for the event, which will stream live on Triller, also includes Jordan Blade vs. Janai Kai.
While Gresham is currently a free agent, Pete Dunne is signed with WWE. Dunne has been absent from Raw and SmackDown in recent months, but as was seen on last night’s episode of Raw, he has made a shocking return under a mask, seemingly aligning himself with the El Grande Americano storyline.
