WWE star suffered a concussion in Hell in a Cell main event, according to Cody Rhodes

Someone in the Hell in a Cell main event suffered a concussion, according to Cody Rhodes.

This came up when he was on the Joe Cronin show and he was asked about the crowd reaction to the main event. Specifically, he addressed the AEW chants from the fans in the arena.

Rhodes said, "I mean when those come up, I wasn’t watching the pay-per-view, but when those come up everyone… your phone starts blowing up and your social starts blowing up."

He continued, "Whenever the crowd chants something, you know whether it’s boring, whether it’s the promotion, whether it’s your name, it means they want to be rewarded with something. That’s just kind of when you’re in the ring wrestling 101 and we know we want to reward them. It was flattering. I wouldn’t be one to gloat about it only because I know that one of the guys in that match got concussed and this job ain’t that easy, but nonetheless whenever we hear those chants, it’s more validation that what we’re doing and what we’ve been saying about this market existing is real."

It was reported by Dave Meltzer that Wyatt was not cleared for Monday Night Raw. However, he did appear in a dark segment after the show but he did not take a bump. Seth Rollins did not appear on the show at all. While it's possible that it was Wyatt who was concussed, the same can be said for Rollins.
