It’s hard to believe that it’s been over 9 months since Neville decided that WWE was not for him. At last word, he is back in London and his contract is frozen, meaning that he can’t work for another wrestling promotion until he completes the time left with WWE.
Since Neville left, Superstars like Cedric Alexander have stepped up to the plate and the product has been more focused on in-ring action, something that Neville would probably have liked if he had stuck around. In a recent Twitter post, Alexander said that the Age Of Alexander will continue.
A fan chimed in and said that this would be a perfect time for Neville to return. Alexander saw the tweet and responded, “you spelled quitter wrong.”
It was an interesting comment because WWE has made a point to not mention Neville since his departure last year. Alexander followed up to a fan saying that Neville had more charisma. His response, “Keyword in that is ‘had.'”
So, either something is up and they are setting up Neville’s return or Alexander is having some fun on Twitter. Alexander vs. Neville would be a great match-up for SummerSlam but, at this point, there is nothing indicating that Neville plans on making a return.
