This week on WWE Friday Night SmackDown, Lacey Evans defeated Sasha Banks to get a spot in the Women’s Money in The Bank match.
Evans won because Bayley was “accidentally” distracting the referee when Sasha should have had the match one. Now it looks like the friendship between Bayley and Sasha is on thin ice and Sasha is making it pretty clear on social media that she’s not happy with her best friend.
After SmackDown, Sasha posted a photo with a caption over Baylry that said, “_deadb*tch_” and a caption under the photo that said, “I can’t wait for the summer” along with the #SummerSlam hashtag.
As previously noted, Bayley vs. Sasha Banks was originally scheduled for WrestleMania but the feeling was that their feud needed more time to develop so it was held off. Bayley and Sasha both felt that there was not enough time for them to build up to their eventual split.
It looks like their big match will happen at SummerSlam this August. SummerSlam is scheduled to take place in Sasha’s hometown of Boston, MA but given the restrictions on large gatherings, it seems unlikely that the show will take place in front of fans so WWE may be forced to put that show on at the Performance Center.
