WWE is sending a long-tenured wrestler to make a rare appearance for an independent wrestling promotion for a good cause.
Since Triple H took over WWE creative in 2022, the company has started working with other promotions, including Pro Wrestling NOAH, GCW, and TNA Wrestling. This is also after the company settled with MLW after a lawsuit had several allegations against WWE, starting with WWE violating the Sherman Antitrust Act in the US market for pro wrestling content, among other things.
Kofi Kingson is headed to Ego Pro Chicago on October 5th for a meet-and-greet. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reports that Kingston will be doing a meet-and-greet, with 100% of the proceeds going towards Navarro Farms, a farm for adults and children with special needs.
