WWE Star Turns Babyface, Leaves Faction During Monday Night Raw

Finn Balor is officially no longer a member of The Judgment Day following a confrontation on Monday Night RAW. The faction fractured after WWE star Dominik Mysterio led a coordinated assault on Balor involving Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and JD McDonagh.

The segment began with Mysterio entering the ring alongside Morgan and Rodriguez. Mysterio addressed his recent loss of the World Heavyweight Championship to Penta, demanding a rematch. Mysterio explicitly blamed Balor for the title loss and called him out to the ring to “air out their laundry in front of everyone”.

Balor made his way to the ring accompanied by McDonagh. Mysterio questioned Balor’s recent absence and asked if Balor had secured his championship rematch. Balor admitted his interference cost Mysterio the title but stated his intentions were to mentor the younger wrestler.

“Dom is right about last week,” Balor said. “If it wasn’t for [me], Dom would still be champion. I am sorry. I was trying to help and teach Dom a lesson. They are a family and they will always have his back. You told me you wanted to be the greatest Mysterio of all time. You can be, but to be the greatest anything, you need to learn that sometimes you have to fight your own battles”.

Balor continued by critiquing Mysterio’s character: “The more I help and try to lead him in the right direction, maybe your dad was right. Maybe you are a spoiled little b**ch”.

Following the remark, Mysterio shoved Balor. Balor responded with a Pele Kick and a Sling Blade, but the momentum shifted when McDonagh executed a clothesline on his longtime mentor.

Morgan and Rodriguez entered the ring to strike Balor, followed by McDonagh and Mysterio. Mysterio utilized a chair and a hammer during the attack, striking Balor with the hammer before placing it inside his shoe.

McDonagh positioned Balor in the ropes, allowing Mysterio to perform a 619. Mysterio had a hammer in his boot when he hit the 619. Following a frog splash from the top rope, McDonagh drove the top of a steel chair into Balor’s midsection. Mysterio then performed a final frog splash onto the chair placed over Balor’s body.
