Injuries happen for any wrestler on any given night, and one star has been sidelined.
That star is Angel Garza, who signed with WWE in 2019 after runs in AAA and Impact Wrestling. While with WWE, he is a former NXT Cruiserweight Champion and a one-time WWE 24/7 Champion.
He was called up from NXT to the main roster alongside Humberto to be paired with Santos Escobar in a new faction. They’ve feuded with the LWO off and on while on SmackDown.
Garza shared in a message on Facebook that he recently underwent surgery to remove ganglion cysts in his wrist. The next step is to undergo physical therapy.
On Friday night, he shared a photo of himself in the hospital with the caption “surgery day.”Over the summer, Garza announced that he had recently re-signed with the company.
