As previously noted, most of the WWE roster was not told ahead of time about plans for them in the draft.
Kevin Owens, like most of his co-workers, found out as he watched Friday Night SmackDown and it looks like he was not happy about being drafted to Raw in the third round of picks.
Owens wrote, “Last night, the @WWE digital team asked me for my thoughts after I was drafted to #Raw. I gave them a very honest, heartfelt answer. They decided not to post the footage because I appeared to be angry. I was angry. I still am. Round 3…Looks like I still have lots to prove.”
Owens recently defeated Shane McMahon in a ladder match on the debut episode of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX. The match was meant to phase McMahon out of storylines…at least for now.
Moving forward, company sources tell me that Owens will start a fresh rivalry on Monday Night Raw and Paul Heyman is a fan of KO so he will likely get a solid push when he moves back to the red brand.
