WWE star vents about not being used on TV in several months

For weeks, fans have speculated that the “hacker” shown on WWE Friday Night SmackDown is Mustafa Ali. There have been no new teases in recent weeks and, unless there are plans to pick the storyline up again, it looks like whatever was planned has been dropped.

It was widely assumed that Ali and Chad Gable were behind the videos and that would explain why they were off TV for so long. However, Gable is now back on SmackDown and Ali has been nowhere to be seen.

A fan tweeted about Ali having the “easiest job” since he hasn’t been on TV in several months. Ali seemed to take issue with the tweet and said, “Yeah man. It’s real nice to be in your prime and wanting to use the exposure you get to bring light to serious topics, but instead forced to the sidelines for reasons beyond your control. Real nice to not be allowed to do what you’re passionate about.”

Ali appeared on a few dark matches and live events in early February but hasn’t been seen on Friday Night SmackDown since January 1st. Ali is one of the most well-liked people in the locker room and considered to be one of the best workers in the company so hopefully, creative will find something for him to do soon.
