WWE Star Written Off TV During Monday Night Raw

Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer appears to have been written off WWE television following a brutal assault by Raquel Rodriguez on Monday Night Raw. The angle was reportedly booked to cover for a legitimate foot injury Vaquer has been dealing with.

The Interview Segment

Earlier in the night, Jackie Redmond interviewed Vaquer in the ring to discuss her breakout performance in 2025. Wearing a walking boot, Vaquer reflected on her achievements, which included winning four championships and making her debut on the Raw roster. She thanked the fans for their support and declared that her current injury would not prevent her from proving she is the “greatest luchadora on the planet” in 2026.

The Attack

The interview was cut short when Raquel Rodriguez attacked Vaquer from behind, immediately targeting her injured leg. Rodriguez slammed the injury into the mat before executing a Tejana Bomb. She then introduced a steel chair into the ring, attempting to “Pillmanize” Vaquer’s ankle. General Manager Adam Pearce rushed the ring and managed to pull the chair away just in time to prevent the maneuver.

However, the assault continued after the commercial break. Rodriguez attacked Vaquer a second time, violently stomping on her injured ankle. The continued aggression forced Pearce to intervene again, threatening Rodriguez with a fine for her actions.

Injury Status

The segment appears designed to write Vaquer off programming to allow her time to recover from her foot injury. As of this writing, there is no confirmed timetable for her return to action. Click here for complete WWE Raw results.
