WWE Stars Comment On Vince McMahon Allegations

More WWE stars have shared their thoughts on the allegations against former WWE CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon following a lawsuit alleging McMahon was involved in sex trafficking, sharing nude photos and explicit videos of Janel Grant without consent, and other things from the former WWE employee. The company and former exec John Laurnatis were also named in the suit.

While speaking with the Daily Mail, Kevin Owens said that everything to come out is awful and terrible.

“There’s really no words to describe how sad this makes me feel. If the people who spoke out went through what they went through, that’s terrible. It’s shameful, and it can’t ever happen again. That’s what it comes down to.”

Becky Lynch also gave her thoughts on the situation in the same article, where she noted she has always felt supported by the company.

“These allegations are horrible, and it’s hard to reconcile as a talent and as a woman. But, my experience in WWE has only ever been amazing.”

Lynch brought up past restrictions on female talent with their matches, citing not being able to punch and other spots. However, she was able to help push women’s wrestling forward in the company and is grateful for that. She added that “ some of these things [right now] are hard to reconcile.”
