WWE commentator Corey Graves is reportedly back in good standing with the company following a brief, controversial move to the NXT commentary team earlier this year. According to a new report from PWInsider, any previous issues surrounding the situation have been “all but forgotten.”
Graves expressed frustration in now-deleted social media posts when he was moved from Raw to NXT. In response to the public comments, fellow announcer Michael Cole had stated that the company was “working things out” with Graves.
That now appears to be the case. The PWInsider report notes that Graves was “well-received” upon his return to the Raw commentary desk on the June 16 episode.
A WWE source also stated that his strong performance as the lead announcer for the recent WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event helped raise his profile internally.
