WWE has removed a few stars from the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches at this upcoming pay-per-view event. For the men’s match, Finn Balor and Kalisto have been removed. Balor will challenge WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar while Kalisto will compete in the WWE Cruiserweight Title Fatal 4-Way Match with Buddy Murphy, Akira Tozawa and Hideo Itami.
Regarding the women’s match, Sasha Banks has been removed. She’ll challenge Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey at this show. Thus, now, there are now 12 open spots for the men’s match while 18 spots are left for the women’s match.
The Royal Rumble pay-per-view event takes place on Sunday, January 27, 2019 in Phoenix, Arizona at Chase Field. Here is the updated Royal Rumble card:
