WWE Stars Win AAA Tag Team Titles At Triplemania Regia

Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide crowned new World Tag Team Champions on Sunday night, as the hometown team of Los Garza captured the titles at Triplemania Regia in Monterrey, Mexico. Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo won a chaotic fatal four-way match to win the championships.

The match, which also featured former champions Sanson & Forastero, Psycho Clown & Pagano, and The Nemeth Brothers, saw interference from Nic and Ryan Nemeth prevent a victory for Psycho Clown and Pagano. This opening allowed Los Garza to hit their finisher on Forastero for the pinfall victory, leading to a massive ovation from their hometown crowd.

In the night’s main event, El Hijo del Vikingo retained the AAA Mega Championship against Alberto El Patron in a wild steel cage match. The bout featured heavy interference from wrestlers like JBL and El Mesias and saw both competitors crash through a table from the top of the cage. The finish came when Latin Lover handcuffed El Patron to the ropes, allowing Vikingo to escape.

Also on the card, TNA’s Moose successfully defended the X-Division Championship in a four-way match against Joe Hendry, El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., and El Mesias.
