WWE issued the following brief statement on Jeff Hardy after his arrest on Saturday:
“Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions.”
As previously noted, Hardy was arrested in South Carolina for public intoxication. Hardy will not be required to appear in court because he is a first time offender for this type of charge.
Many people in WWE say that Hardy is one of the nicest guys in the locker room and have been pulling for him given his substance abuse issues. The hope is that this recent arrest is not a sign of bigger issues.
