WWE still doesn’t have a creative direction for star who hasn’t been used in over a year

WWE released several wrestlers and employees last April due to budget cuts related to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, one name that wasn’t cut was Bo Dallas even though the company hasn’t done anything with him for over a year.

Back in December 2019, he had announced that he was going on a life-changing expedition and hasn’t been used since. In fact, his last match came on November 13, 2019 in Zürich, Schweiz while working a six-man tag team match.

A fan asked Dave Meltzer during today’s Wrestling Observer Radio whether Dallas is still with WWE. It comes down to the case of WWE creative really not having anything for him. Thus, he’s backstage at shows, but not used.

“Yes, he’s there. You know when they say that creative has nothing for him? In his case, that’s actually true. Usually, when people say that, it’s something else I don’t know why he hasn’t been cut.

They never use him. Why they didn’t cut him, but they cut all those guys that they cut in April, but he’s still there. He’s still got a job. No idea what or why or anything. It’s a big mystery.”
