Next week is a big week for WWE. WWE will be announcing their subscription numbers for the WWE Network. Most are expecting a strong announcement and while there is nothing coming out from the company right now, the feeling is that the numbers will be very good.
Investors will probably be happy with 1 million subscribers and many analysts are predicting a number much higher than that. Whatever is announced next week will have a huge impact on the industry. If the numbers are bad (and it doesn’t look like that will be the case) then this could mean that WrestleMania gets taken off the network and is a pay-per-view only event. If the numbers are good then this changes everything and could be something that makes UFC reconsider their options for years to come.
