We are live tonight with ongoing SummerSlam coverage.
Jon Stewart opens the show. He puts over all of the Superstars. Stewart says he wants to interview Brock Lesnar but he needs back up. Mick Foley comes out and says that he thought Stewart meant “Rock” not Brock. Foley says that he’s scared of Brock and he’s not going to visit Suplex City so Stewart is on his own. The SummerSlam intro plays.
Randy Orton vs. Sheamus
Sheamus got in most of the offense early in the match. Orton would get short flurries of offense but Sheamus would cut him off. Orton finally got the upperhand and tried for a powerslam but Sheamus avoided it. Orton hit him with a backbreaker. Orton hits an exploder suplex and dumps Sheamus over the top rope to the floor. I don’t know how this happened but Orton has a cut above his left eye. Orton hit a draping DDT with Sheamus’s feet on the top rope. The match ended with Sheamus hitting Orton twice with a brogue kick and getting the pin.
WWE Tag Team Championship – Fatal 4 Way Match
Prime Time Players (Champions) vs. The New Day vs. Los Matadores vs. Lucha Dragons
Before the match, The New Day sings their own rendition of “New York” called “New Day.” The rules are that anyone can pin anyone and their team wins so Big E tried to pin his partner. Smart move there. Big E and Kalisto were in the match for a couple of minutes. Darren Young tagged himself in to face Kalisto. The match built up to Titus getting the hot tag and taking out everyone. Fernando tagged himself in so it was Sin Cara and Fernando in the ring. Sin Cara did a splash onto Fernando but Fernando moved so Sin Cara landed hard on the outside. Xavier got involved but El Torito dove onto h I’m. Xavier caught him and slammed him face first on the outside. Big E speared Young to the outside. Titus and Fernando are the legal men in the ring. There was an awesome spot with Titus launching one of Los Matadores and the Dragons off the top rope at the same time. Kofi tagged in and pinned Fernando. New CHAMPS!!
Dolph Ziggler vs. Rusev
Lana now dresses similar to Dolph. No more business attire. Rusev attacked early so he got the early advantage in the match. There was a really cool somersault flip by Rusev where Rusev landed back first on Ziegler. This was a fast paced match. At one point Ziggler locked in a sleeper hold. There was a very close near fall when Ziggler hit a famouser. Rusev got things back on track and hit a kick to the face and then went for the accolade. Summer ran over towards Lana but Lana slapped her. This distracted Rusev. Ziggler rolls out to the outside as fans chant for Lana. Rusev held Ziggler’s face in front of Lana as Summer snuck up and drove Lana into the floor at ringside. Ziggler kicks Rusev in the face. The referee counted and Ziggler wasn’t able to get back in the ring so he and Rusev got counted out. Double countout. Rusev and Dolph fought in the ring. Summer attacked Ziggler and Lana attacked Summer and they rolled around in the ring until both men pulled them away.
Neville and Stephen Amell vs. Stardust and King Barrett
Neville and Stardust started the match but Stardust demanded Amell so Neville tagged him in. Stardust shoves Amell. Amell kicks Stardust in the chest and knocks Stardust down. Stardust is back up and hits Amell with a knee to the gut. Amell fights back and nails him with a hiptoss. Stardust tags in Barrett. Barrett takes control with a punch and kick in the corner and then he goes for a slam but Amell slips out. They run the ropes and Amell leapfrogs Barrett. Barrett kicks Amell and they corner Amell in the corner while Stardust tags in. Barrett knocks Amell out of the ring with knees to the face. They bring him back in and Stardust and Barrett double team him. Amell is not bad for his first match. Front suplex to Amell from Stardust. Amell manages to nail Stardust with an enzigure kick to the head. Amell tags in Neville and Neville cleans house with kicks to the body and running kick to Barrett. Neville hits a 450 splash onto Barrett but Stardust breaks up the pin. Neville dumps Stardust and Barrett to ringside. Amell does a dive onto both men at ringside from the top rope. Neville hits the red arrow onto Barrett. Neville gets the pin.

Intercontinental Championship – Triple Threat Match
Ryback (Champion) vs. Big Show vs. The Miz
I don’t know what he was thinking but early in the match Big Show did a flip (sort of) off the second rope onto Ryback. Miz tried to take advantage and tried to get a pin but Ryback kicked out. Big Show was back up and took control of the match and hit Ryback with a chokeslam on top of Miz. Show went for the KO but Ryback moved and picked up and slammed Show. Ryback went for the meat hook but Show caught him. Ryback slips out and shell shocks Show. Miz hit the skull crushing finale but Ryback kicked out. Miz tries to pin Show but Show powers out. Miz tries to pin Ryback and Show over and over but both men kept kicking out. Fans clapped in appreciation. Show KO’s Ryback and goes for the pin but Miz breaks it up. Miz attempts to pin Ryback but Show breaks it up. Show KO’s Miz. Ryback clotheslines Show out of the ring and Ryback pins Miz. Ryback retains the title.
Jon Stewart went to Brock Lesnar’s dressing room in an attempt to interview him but Paul Heyman answered. Stewart says that Heyman rubbed salt in the wound after Lesnar broke the streak. Heyman starts singing “glory glory Brock Lesnar.” Heyman says that he guesses that they couldn’t get Letterman to host the show tonight.
Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper vs. Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose
Ambrose and Reigns got off to a hot start. Ambrose did a spot where he ran across all three announce tables onto Bray Wyatt at ringside. Things settled down as far as the pace of the match goes once the heels took over on offense. It was Harper and Ambrose in the ring for a few minutes. Harper nailed Ambrose with chops and ripped Ambrose’s shirt off. Bray hit a nasty looking DDT on the outside to Ambrose from inside the ring. Wyatt is now the legal man. Roman was taken out of the match early so this allowed Harper and Wyatt to double team Ambrose at different times in the match. Roman is still out of the match and fans are chanting “Roman’s sleeping.” Ambrose finally fights back and Roman gets back on the apron allowing Dean to tag him. Roman cleans house. Now it’s Roman and Harper as the legal men in the match. The fans in Brooklyn don’t seem to like Roman Reigns since they are booing him everytime he executes a move on Harper. Roman sets up for the punch but Bray distracts him and Harper kicks Roman and hits the sitdown powerbomb. Bray tags in. Harper sets Roman up for a piledriver but Roman fights out of it. Roman hits the superman punch on Harper and Wyatt. Ambrose tags in . Roman gets Bray on his shoulder. Ambrose flies off the top with the Doomsday Device. Ambrose goes for the pin but Harper breaks it up. Harper goes for the powerbomb but Roman hits the superman punch. Ambrose and Roman hit a powerbomb on Harper. Bray is back up and he goes for Sister Abigail but Ambrose fights out of it and hits Dirty Deeds and tags in Roman. Roman hits the spear and gets the pin.
Title vs. Title
Seth Rollins (WWE Champion) vs. John Cena (U.S. Champion)
Rollins has new gear. It’s all white. Cena starts with a side headlock takedown. The Brooklyn crowd was really on Cena’s case. Rollins took over on offense and at one point dove onto Cena to the outside several times. Cena fought back and hit some shoulder tackles but Rollins countered a slam attempt from Cena. Up to this point Rollins was able to counter everything Cena tried. Cena fought back and managed to hit a bad looking springboard stunner on Rollins. Cena tried for the AA but Rollins fought out of it. Rollins did a double knee dive to Cena. Rollins runs and does a standing flip onto Cena and tries for a pin. Rollins is fantastic. Rollins got Cena up on the top turnbuckle. Cena falls backward and Rollins does a double stomp on Cena from the top rope while Cena was hanging from the top turnbuckle. Rollins argues with the referee. Cena catches his breath and surprises Rollins with an AA. Rollins kicks out. Cena launches Rollins into the corner and then flapjacks him. Cena pin attempt.. two count. Cena hits a legdrop off the top…1-2 kick out by Rollins. Cena sets up for the AA off the top rope but Rollins counters, picks up Cena and rams him into the turnbuckle on the other side of the ring. Rollins goes up top now. Rollins hits a big frog splash but Cena counters and picks up Rollins and turns it into an AA but Rollins lands on his feet and nails Cena with a kick to the head. Rollins hits the AA…1-2 kickout by Cena! Great match. Rollins climbs to the top turnbuckle and does a flip off the top but Cena moves and Cena locks in the STF on Rollins. Rollins kicks Cena off but Cena goes for the AA, Rollins counters, tries for the Pedigree, Cena turns it into the Figure Four. The announcers point out that Cena is using Flair’s move. Rollins struggles and turns the it around thus putting the pressure on Cena’s legs. Cena barely makes it to the bottom rope so the ref makes Rollins break. Rollins and Cena struggle to get up. Cena punches Rollins. Cena gets to the top and Rollins runs up to him and hits a superplex off the top. Rollins quickly gets Cena back up and suplexes Cena and goes for a pin. Wow. Rollins back up top and does a back first flip but misses. Cena gets Rollins up for the AA but the ref gets knocked out by Rollins foot by accident. The referee can’t count the pin for Cena. Rollins hits Cena in the face with his knee just like he did on Raw a few weeks ago. Jon Stewart runs down with a chair. Stewart hits Cena in the stomach with the chair. Rollins hits the pedigree and gets the win.
Triple Threat Elimination Match
Team Bella vs. Team B.A.D. vs. PCB
They clearly positioned this match as the bathroom break match even though WWE is claiming to be in the midst of a Diva Revolution. Fans chanted for Sasha early on. There was as spot where Naomi and Sasha did dives over the top rope onto the women on the outside. The Bellas did dives through the ropes but fans didn’t cheer them like they did for Sasha. Alicia and Paige battled on the top turnbuckle and fell to the outside. Paige did a dive off the top rope onto the pile of women on the outside. It’s now Tamina and Becky Lynch in the ring. The crowd is mostly silent. Brie tags in and drives Tamina into the canvas and gets the pin so Team B.A.D. is eliminated. The crowd boos. Nikki tags in and now it’s Nikki and Becky in the ring. Nikki hits the rack attack but Paige and Charlotte make the save. Paige tags in and attacks Nikki. Paige runs at Nikki with a knee to the face in the corner. She follows up with more knees to the face. Paige does the fallaway Scott Hall slam and Nikki rolls out of the ring. Paige goes for the baseball slide but Nikki catches her and hits the Alabama slam on the floor. The ref starts counting Paige out. Paige gets back in the ring and Brie attacks. Paige tries to come back but Brie cuts her off. Brie hits Paige with kicks to the body and Paige tries to fight back but Brie cuts her off. Alicia Fox tags in. Fans still not into the match. Alicia hits a bridge suplex and goes for a pin but Paige kicks out. Alicia gets Paige in a bow and arrow hold with the knee in Paige’s back while holding her arms. Paige fights back but Alicia cuts her off with a dropkick. Nikki tags in and takes over on Paige. Alicia tags in again. Paige continues to kick out of each pin attempt. Paige finally fights back and gets the tag to Charlotte. Charlotte hits Alicia with several chops and a neckbreaker. Then she spears Alicia. Charlotte locks in the figure four and then the figure eight. Nikki breaks it up. Paige tackes Nikki out of the ring. Charlotte and Alicia both hit a double boot on each other. Both women are down. Becky tags in, Brie tags in. Snapmare from Becky but Brie catches Becky with a kick from the corner. Brie goes for the dropkick off the top but Becky moves and Becky hits the pumphandle slam and get the pin.
Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro
The Cesaro section is in full force in Brooklyn. Very fast paced start to the match. Owens did a flp dive over the top on Cesaro within the first minute of the match. Owens tosses Cesaro into the ring and starts yelling at Michael Cole. Cesaro then does a corkscrew dive onto Owens at ringside. Back in the ring…cross body block and pin attempt by Cesaro. Cesaro hits a double stomp and pin attempt. Owens took over on offense at ringside and hit a cannonball into the barriade on Cesaro. Owens hit a spnning neckbreaker in the ring and went for a pin. The announcers are wondering how Owens is feeling after last night’s ladder match at Takeover. Cesaro fought back with a barrage of slaps and uppercuts. Cesaro lifts Cesaro up on his shoulders and drops him. 2 count. Cesaro hits a gutwrench suplex off the top rope. Pin attempt…2 count. Cesaro countered a slam atempt with a backdrop and then a tornado DDT off the second rope. Pin attempt..2 count. Owens went for a springboard moonsault but Cesaro moved out of the way. Cesaro hits a running uppercut in the corner. He goes for another but Owens hits a superkick. Owens tosses Cesaro to the ropes but Cesaro springboards off the second rope with an uppercut…2 count. Owens rolls out to the ringside are but Cesaro runs out and hits a running uppercut. Cesaro brings Owens into the ring. Cesaro hits the giant swing 10 times. Sharpshooter locked in now by Cesaro. Owens makes it to the bottom rope. Cesaro gets Owens up on the top rope and Cesaro hits him with a standing dropkick. Cesaro climbs up but Owens slips out and Cesaro falls on the top rope. Owens nails the side suplex off the top and the pop up powerbomb. 1-2-3 Owens wins.
Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker
Lesnar attacked before the bell as soon as Taker got in the ring. Taker fought back though and knocked Lesnar out of the ring. Lesnar paces outside of the ring as Taker waits for him in the ring. The ref calls for the bell and the match has officially started. Lesnar tackles Taker and attacks the ribs. Taker fights back with right hands. Splt chants of “Undertaker” and “Suplex City.” Undertaker goes for “old school” off the top rope but Lesnar pulls him off and goes for the F5 but Taker fights him off. Brock hits a suplex on Taker. Brock hits a second suplex. Brock yells “SUPLEX CITY BITCH!” Brock tries to hit another one but Paker pulls Brock head first into the turnbuckle. Taker hits snake eyes and running big boot. Brock is busted open. Both men are at ringside now. Taker drives Lesnar’s back into the barricade and then into the ring apron. Taker is much more aggressive than he was in the last match with Lesnar. He’s moving around a lot better too. Taker hits the classic legdrop on the apron to Brock’s neck. Fans chant “you still got it.” Back in the ring, Taker throws punches and Brock fights back but Taker gets the better of him. Brock nails a German suplex…number 3. He hits suplex number 4 on Taker. He hits suplex number 5. Taker rolls out of the ring. Brocks takes apart the announcers table but Taker hits Brock with a punch and kick to the gut. Taker goes for a last ride but Lesnar hits an F5 on the announcer table. The table breaks. Brock is busted open too. Taker barely makes it in before the count of ten. Brock stands over Taker. Taker crawls towards Brock. Brock grabs Taker by the neck but Taker chokeslams Brock. Monster chokeslam. Taker goes for the tombstone and hits it. Pin attempt…1-2… Brock kicks out! Lesnar sits up and he’s laughing. Taker sits up and he laughs back. They trade blows. Lesnar gets Taker in the corner and locks in the kumra lock. Taker breaks it and hits the last ride…Lesnar kicks out at two and a half. Lesnar is up and hits the F5. Taker kicks out. Brock is back up. Brock goes for another F5 and hits it. Taker kicks out. Fans chant “this is awesome.” Taker surprises Brock and grabs the arm and locks in the Hells Gate submission. Brock breaks out of it and locks in the kimura lock on Taker. JBL says Brock’s shoulders are down. The referee counts. The bell rings. The ref yells at the timekeeper because the ref never counted to three. Taker hits a low blow as Brock is celebrating thinking that he made Taker submit. Taker locks in Hells Gate. Lesnar gives Taker the middle finger but Lesnar passes out. Taker wins. They showed on the replay that Taker really did tap but the victory stands and Undertaker is the winner even though Lesnar was robbed. Heyman is furious. He grabs the mic and says that he saw it and everyone saw it. He declares Brock Lesnar as the winner by tap out submission.
