We are just a couple of weeks away from SummerSlam so most of the card should be locked in within the next few days. Tonight’s show will feature the return of AJ Styles to respond to Samoa Joe’s comments about him from last week.
Scheduled for tonight:
– AJ Styles returns to address Samoa Joe
– The New Day vs. The Bar. The winning team will go to SummerSlam to challenge The Bludgeon Brothers for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships
– Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch vs. The IIconics.
– The Miz will make a SummerSlam announcement. He has been ranting on social media about Daniel Bryan not being a deserving opponent for him. We’ll see how things play out tonight.
On a side note, the last word on Bryan is that he has still not signed a new WWE contract. If he doesn’t sign a new deal before SummerSlam then he will likely lose his match against The Miz.
