We were just told that the SummerSlam concert with Flo Rida that was scheduled for 8/18 in Brookyn at the Barclay’s Center has been canceled. I don’t know if WWE will say anything publicly but privately I was told that tickets were not selling well.
There was heavy advertising in Brooklyn during the past week because tickets were not moving well but that apparently was not enough. WWE was partnering with Z100 and a portion of the proceeds for the show were to go to Connor’s Cure.
Besides Flo Rida, they had performances scheduled by Daya, Jordan Hollywood and Jason Derulo. Also, several WWE Superstars were scheduled to appear.
