WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest vs. GUNTHER took place at the WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event from Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, OH on Saturday night.
They traded hard shots throughout and during an exchange of tops, GUNTHER was bleeding from his chest. Priest with a chokeslam for 2. GUNTHER with a series of suplexes for 2. GUNTHER with a kick to the face while Priest said he wasn’t going to quit. Priest started to rally and hit the razor’s edge and then the chokeslam for 2 as Finn Balor ran down and put the leg of GUNTHER on the bottom rope. Priest was about to go after Balor, but GUNTHER caught him with the rear-naked choke. Priest got out of it and Priest went after Balor again, but GUNTHER caught him with a powerbomb then rear-naked choke for the win.
