Tonight’s show will be headlined by Brock Lesnar defending the Universal Championship against Seth Rollins and WWE Champion Kofi Kingston will defend against Randy Orton with the story being that Orton is the man who held Kingston down many years ago.

Also, Kevin Owens will quit WWE if he loses to Shane McMahon and Trish Stratus returns for one final match against Charlotte Flair and Goldberg returns to the ring and he will face Dolph Ziggler. In addition, most of the titles will be on the line tonight with Becky Lynch defending her Raw Women’s Title against Natalya, Bayley defending her SmackDown Women’s Title against Ember Moon and AJ Styles defending the U.S. Title against Ricochet.

The Women’s Tag Titles and Cruiserweight Title will be defended on the Kickoff show.

Kickoff Show

WWE Cruiserweight Championship
Drew Gulak vs. Oney Lorcan

This was a solid and hard-hitting match but sadly, the fans did not react for most of it. Gulak pinned Lorcan after the Cyclone Crash so he retains his title.

There were some 24/7 Title hijinks with Drake Maverick chasing around R-Truth (with Carmella).

Buddy Murphy vs. Apollo Crews

The reason for this match was to continue the attack angle storyline. Rowan ended the match when he ran out to attack Buddy Murphy. The announcers wondered if it was Rowan who has been behind the attacks on Roman Reigns.

Elias went to the ring for a musical performance. He ripped on Toronto and then Edge’s music played he walked to the ring, speared Elias and then left.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions
Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss vs. The IIconics

Thanks to help from Cross, Bliss won the match after hitting the Twisted Bliss off the top rope. Bliss and Cross retain. They will defend their titles tomorrow night on Raw.

Main Card

WWE Raw Women’s Championship – Submission Match
Becky Lynch vs. Natalya

Natalya was aggressive and she got in most of the offense for the first several minutes but that changed when Natalya was driven into the announcer’s table at ringside. They tried each others moves earlier in the match but were able to slip out but Lynch won it in the end with the armbar submission. Natalya tapped out.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Goldberg

Before the match got started, Ziggler cut a promo about stealing the show and being the best thing to happen to pro wrestling. Ziggler surprised Goldberg with two superkicks but on the third try, Goldberg speared him and hit the jackknife for the win. After the match, Ziggler trash-talked on the mic and Goldberg went back to the ring to hit another spear. Ziggler trash talked again and got hit with another spear. Goldberg went to the back but went back to the ring and speared Ziggler a final time.

WWE United States Championship
AJ Styles vs. Ricochet

Very good match. The finish was Styles catching Ricochet as he did some sort of twisting dive off the top rope. Styles caught him and hit the Styles Clash. Gallows and Anderson interfered during this match so Styles had plenty of help. Styles retained his title. Gallows, Anderson and Styles attacked Ricochet after the match and then they did the “Too Sweet” gesture.

There was a backstage segment with The Street Profits. Ric Flair made an appearance during this segment.

WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship
Bayley vs. Ember Moon

The match was fine but the fans weren’t reacting much to it. Bayley won after hitting a massive Bayley to belly suplex off the top rope. Bayley retained after pinning Moon.

If Owens loses, he will quit
Kevin Owens vs. Shane McMahon

There was tons of interference from Elias at ringside after he was named the special enforcer. The finish was Owens hitting a senton and frog splash off the top. He pinned Shane so he will keep his job.

Trish Stratus vs. Charlotte Flair

This was a good match. They got plenty of time to work and Trish looked good. There were a few near falls including when Trish hit the Stratusfaction and later when she hit the Chick Kick. The finish was Flair locking in the Figure Eight and forcing Trish to tap out. The hometown fans in Toronto gave Trish a standing ovation and her music played as she walked to the back.

They showed Seth Rollins backstage taping his ribs. Bret Hart stepped in and wished him luck. Hart said he would be watching his match.

WWE Championship
Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton

This match was alright and it was mostly wrestled at a slower pace until the last few minutes. The finish was odd and fans booed because it came across lame. Orton stared at Kingston’s son at ringside and then Kingston went nuts with punches and kendo stick shots at ringside and then back in the ring. They were both counted out so this feud will continue. Kofi is still champion.

Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt

This was great because of the entrance, music and how Wyatt portrayed his character. This was basically a squash match. Wyatt won with the Mandible Claw into a pin. Wyatt’s music had the same vocals with a harder rock edge to it and the person singing it was not the same person. Very good way to re-debut him. Balor is taking time off after Monday night.

WWE Universal Championship
Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins

There were a ton of big moves in this match. Rollins won the Universal Champion after stomping Lesnar. Click here for more on this match.
