Kickoff Show
Big E vs. Baron Corbin
This match was made after Corbin stole E’s Money In The Bank briefcase over a week ago. Late in the match, Corbin tried to escape the contract but E cut him off around ringside with a tackle. E followed up with a spear on Corbin through the ropes and the Big Ending for the win. E celebrated with his MITB briefcase.
Main Card
WWE Raw Tag Team Championship
AJ Styles and Omos vs. RK-Bro

Riddle and Styles started the match. Riddle was in for several minutes until Orton made the hot tag. Late in the match, Orton hit Styles with the RKO and pinned him to win the titles.
Riddle and Orton celebrated after the match and Orton was smiling.
Eva Marie vs. Alexa Bliss
There were some shenanigans with the doll. Late in the match, Marie countered a crossbody off the top into a pin attempt. Bliss won the match. Bliss won the match with the DDT.
After the match, Doudrop grabbed the mic and called Marie the loser of the match.
Mario Lopez interviewed RK-Bro.
WWE United States Championship
Sheamus vs. Damian Priest
Priest was banged up during a spot where he did a dive off the top onto Sheamus. Priest appeared to hurt his back because he was favoring it after his backside landed hart on the floor.
Sheamus came close to winning after hitting a clothesline off the top and an Alabama slam but Priest kicked out of the pin attempt. Sheamus followed up with slaps to the face and a headbutt. Sheamus tried the Brogue Kick but Priest countered with his own kick and the Sound of Heaven slam.
Priest tried a move off the middle rope but Sheamus countered with the Brogue kick and a pin attempt. Late in the match, Priest ripped off the facemask and he threw punches. He followed with the Reckoning finisher to win the title.
WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship
The Usos vs. Rey and Dominik Mysterio
Rey gave his son a pep talk backstage before the match got started since there have been issues with them not being on the same page in recent singles matches.
Dominik was in the match for a lot of time until he was able to finally hit the hot tag to his father. Late in the match, Rey took a splash off the top but he moved out of the way on a second splash attempt. Rey hit the 619 on Jimmy, followed by a splash off the top but Jimmy got the knees up.
The Usos hit a double superkick and then a splash off the top for the win.
Tiffany Haddish interviewed Damian Priest.
Shinsuke Nakamura and Rik Boogs went out to the ring to celebrate Nakamura’s U.S. Title win.
Tamyra Mensah-Stock and Gable Steveson were introduced to the crowd.
WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship
Bianca Belair vs. Sasha Banks
It was announced that Banks was not cleared to compete so Carmella was announced as her replacement. Belair said that she will see Banks “sooner or later” but for now she was going to take out her frustrations on Carmella. Before the match got started, Becky Lynch came out to a huge crowd reaction.
Lynch tossed Carmella out of the ring and then it was agreed that it would be Lynch vs. Belair for the title. Lynch won the match with a punch and the Manhandle slam.
Drew McIntyre vs. Jinder Mahal
This was a basic match. McIntyre tried early to finish the match but Mahal slid out of the ring and the match resumed around ringside until McIntyre tossed Mahal back in the ring.
Mahal got a minute of offense but McIntyre came back and won the match with the Claymore kick. This looked like it was the end of the feud. Veer and Shanky went back in the ring to help Mahal but McIntyre decided to chase them away with his sword.
WWE Raw Women’s Championship – Triple Threat Match
Nikki A.S.H. vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair
Like they always do with Triple Threat matches, they took turns by having a woman knocked out of the ring for a couple of minutes until it was her turn to get back in the match.
Late in the match, Ripley hit a German suplex while Flair was holding A.S.H. in her arms. Ripley followed up with a missile dropkick on Flair into a pin attempt. Flair and Ripley fought outside the ring and A.S.H. dove on both of them off the top rope. Back in the ring, A.S.H. and Ripley teamed up to hit a delayed suplex on Flair but Flair countered it into a double DDT. Flair then back body dropped Ripley over the top and to the floor and then Flair hit a twisting moonsault to both Ripley and A.S.H. at ringside.
Later in the match, Flair countered a submission by Ripley and turning it into the figure Eight. A.S.H. broke it up with a splash off the top. Ripley tried to hit Nikki with the rip tide but Nikki countered with a DDT and Ripley fell out of the ring. Nikki went for a splash off the top but Flair countered into the figure 8. Nikki tapped out and Flair is the champion.
Edge vs. Seth Rollins
Edge came out to his old Brood music at first before transitioning into his regular theme song. Early in the match, Rollins worked over Edge’s neck by ramming it into the ring post and into the ring steps. The story they were telling is that Rollins just needed to hit the curb stomp to win the match.
Rollins continued to work on Edge’s neck through the match. Late in the match, Rollins tried a move off the top with Edge but Edge turned it into a neck breaker off the top rope. Moments later, Edge tried another move off the top but Rollins ran up and hit a superplex off the top rope and a falcon arrow.
Rollins tried to hit the stomp but Edge countered into the Glam slam into a near fall. Rollins took over on offense with more moves on Edge’s neck. Edge turned things around by spearing Rollins through the ropes to the outside of the ring. Edge rammed Rollins into the ring LED board and then he went for a spear but Rollins countered into the Pedigree into a near fall. Rollins tried a corkscrew moonsault but Edge moved and hit a spear for a very close near fall.
Rollins came back with shots to the back of Edge’s neck. Rollins went for the curb stomp but Edge caught him and then locked in the Edgucator submission. Rollins broke free with a roll up but then Edge locked in the crossface submission, Rollins briefly broke free but Edge rammed Rollins’ head repeatedly into the mat before locking in a sleeper and Rollins tapped out.
Miz and Morrison were out to talk. Xavier Woods walked out and sprayed them with a giant drip stick.
WWE Championship
Bobby Lashley vs. Goldberg
Goldberg’s body looked closer to what he looked like when he was in WCW or at least how he looked when he went to WWE in 2003 but it looked like he was grimacing a bit when he entered the ring so he may have been hurting before this match.
They started out by locking up and Goldberg hit the first offense move with a flying body tackle and body slam. Goldberg slammed Lashley again and then he hit an awkward clothesline in the corner. Goldberg followed up with another clothesline as the fans booed him.
The fans cheered when Lashley hit back with his offense. Lashley tried the jackhammer but Goldberg stopped him. Goldberg tried something but he botched it and Lashley hit a flat liner. Lashley went to the top but Goldberg picked him up and launched him. Goldberg went for a spear but MVP pulled Lashley out of the ring but Goldberg hit Lashley with a spear at ringside. Back in the ring, Goldberg went for another spear but Lashley slid out of the ring and MVP hit Goldberg in the back of the knee. That allowed Lashley to hit a chop block, a chokeslam and the full nelson but Goldberg broke free. Lashley hit another chop block and Goldberg rolled out of the ring. Lashley then picked up and rammed Goldberg into the ring post two consecutive times.
Back in the ring, Goldberg struggled to stand up and so the referee called off the match.
Lashley attacked Goldberg’s leg with a steel chair so it looks like they will do this match again, perhaps in October at Crown Jewel. Gage Goldberg ran in to help his dad by Lashley put him in the full nelson. MVP grabbed the mic and said Lashley had no way of knowing that it was Gage Goldberg who jumped on him.
WWE Universal Championship
Roman Reigns vs. John Cena
Cena came out with new gear inspired by Super Mario 3. Reigns walked out to the ring with Heyman and The Usos with him. The Usos walked to the back before the match got started.
Cena tried to get surprise roll-ups early in the match to show how close he could get to ending the match. The match spilled to ringside and Reigns shoved Cena into the steel steps. Back in the ring, Reigns took his time and Cena tried again to get a quick roll up. Cena tried the AA but Reigns countered into the DDT and a near fall.
Reigns continued to act arrogant so Cena tried another roll up but Reigns kicked out and locked in the sleeper hold. Cena broke free and then hit a clothesline. Cena hit his shoulder tackles and then he was going for the 5 knuckle shuffle but Reigns went for the guillotine, Cena broke free but Reigns hit the Superman punch. Reigns went for a spear but Cena kicked him and then he hit the 5 knuckle shuffle and then the AA but Reigns kicked out of the pin attempt.
Cena locked in the STF but Reigns made it to the bottom rope. Reigns hit Cena with the drive by outside of the ring. Reigns charged at Cena but Cena hit an AA through the table. Cena brought Reigns back in the ring and then went for the cover but Reigns kicked out. Cena then went for a move off the top but Reigns countered into a powerbomb and pin attempt. Reigns went for another Superman punch but Cena rolled him up again for a near fall. Cena then tried an AA but Reigns hit the punch into another near fall.
A frustrated Reigns went for the spear but Cena moved and Reigns hit the ring post. Cena brought Reigns to the top rope and he hit the AA. Cena went for the pin but Reigns kicked out again. Cena mocked Reigns and then tried a spear but Reigns kicked him and then they traded punches. Reigns hit the punch twice in a row and then the spear for the win.
Brock Lesnar’s music played and he walked out to the ring to confront Reigns. Reigns backed away and the show ended with Lesnar in the ring with his music playing.
