Ronda Rousey vs. Shayna Baszler in an MMA Rules Match took place at the WWE SummerSlam premium live event from Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.
They tried to recreate an MMA fight with strikes and clinching up against the ropes. Rousey with a few takedowns. Rousey went for an armbar, but Shayna got out of it. Shayna with a head kick sending Rousey rolling to the floor. Back in the ring, Shayna went for a kneebar. Shayna sold an arm injury and the medics checked on her. Rousey pushed away the medics before they went back to action. They trade shots then Shayna with a rear-naked choke for the win as Rousey passed out.
Winner: Shayna Baszler
