Michin has addressed her injury status and issued a direct warning to WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill. In a social media post featuring her in a sling, the SmackDown star confirmed she is out of action but emphasized that the setback is only temporary.
Michin was pulled from WWE’s holiday live event tour last week after reportedly suffering a shoulder injury, later writing on Instagram that she had to cut her tour short.
“I may be out, but I am out temporarily. And with all the money and fame and aura…what you don’t have that I do is grit, is the love of this business,” Michin said in the video. “So Jade, enjoy your vacations and your photo shoots because while I’m getting better, I’m focusing on you and nothing is going to keep me away from that ring and nothing is going to keep me away from you.”
On Friday’s SmackDown, Cargill addressed the situation by claiming she injured Michin intentionally and that she “deserved what happened.” Cargill also had a run-in with Jordynne Grace during the show. Michin made it clear that despite the injury, she intends to pursue Cargill upon her return.
