One WWE star is currently out of action due to a concussion. That star turns out to be Sheamus.
It was reported on Wednesday that the former WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion was dealing with an unknown injury. Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that he’s dealing with a concussion.
Sheamus was most recently in action when he competed in a six-man headliner alongside Cesaro and Drew McIntyre where they lost to The New Day on last Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live, which marked the post-WrestleMania 35 episode.
Although not confirmed, the belief is that this is the match that he suffered the concussion as it marked his most recent contest. Also in this match, Big E suffered a torn meniscus that required surgery.
As noted, Sheamus didn’t appear on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live in Montreal, QC at the Bell Centre on the USA Network. The concussion explains his absence from the show.
