WWE SmackDown star Tye Dillinger has admitted that he attempted to get moved back to NXT when asking WWE officials about the move from the main roster to the yellow brand.
This revelation came once a fan asked him on his official Twitter account if he would go back to NXT if it was possible. That’s when he responded by stating, “Tried.”
Tried. https://t.co/oiarrUEj30

He made this comment while preparing to make his return to the squared circle in order to compete once again under the WWE banner. He’s been out of action due to an injury but that all changed when he returned to in-ring action on Saturday night in Dekalb, IL at the NIU Convocation Center where he lost to Shelton Benjamin in a singles match.
His last match that aired on television took place in late September where he defeated Shinsuke Nakamura via DQ. He last worked at a WWE live event from the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia when he teamed up with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows to beat SAnitY (Alexander Wolfe, Eric Young, and Killian Dain) in a six-man tag team match.
