We’ve heard the stories over the years about some wrestlers expressing frustration about Brock Lesnar and the preferential treatment from WWE management.
It seems like the resentment has increased. As reported in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer says he’s heard more from talent about Lesnar with the feeling being that he is bulletproof.
While fans have come down hard on Nia Jax for the punch that injured Becky Lynch, the most dangerous and most reckless moves of the night came from Lesnar and nobody is talking about it.
For those of you that missed it, Lesnar delivered nasty looking German suplexes on Sunil Singh early in the show. Singh landed badly on the back of his neck but thankfully and luckily he did not get hurt badly on either.
For whatever it’s worth, there is a big angle planned for Lesnar when he returns and it involves several WWE Superstars so maybe they will play off the real-life resentment. During the Raw show in the UK, Seth Rollins cut a promo and said that Lesnar’s title win at Crown Jewel was a slap in the face to the fans and the locker room.
