In another champion vs. champion match, Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Matt Riddle) took on SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos at WWE Survivor Series. In this match, Orton broke the record for most matches in pay-per-view history.
RK-Bro got most of the offense during the first few minutes of the match until Jey hit a forearm that knocked Riddle off the ring apron and to the floor. The Usos were in control until Orton was able to make the hot tag. Orton took out both Usos, including slamming them through the announcer’s table that did not break.
There was close near fall late in the match when Riddle took a double superkick to the head from Jimmy and Jey. Jimmy went for a splash off the top but Orton caught him with the RKO out of nowhere and he pinned him to win the match.
