It appears that WWE is taking precautions when it comes to the talent and crew working all events.
The plan right now is for the company to hold television events – Raw, NXT, and SmackDown – from Orlando, Florida at the WWE Performance Center.
This is being done to the outbreak of the coronavirus as arenas are shut down and some states are prohibiting large gatherings.
Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet noted in a recent post on Twitter that medical testing that was done at the event on Monday to protect against the coronavirus:
“Sources say that in order to enter the tapings at the WWE Performance Center amidst the coronavirus pandemic, talent/crew/etc must pass a screening done by a team of physicians.”
WWE and AEW are the only live entertainment running events right now in the United States. Both promotions have taken caution when doing so as there are no fans in attendance and only essential people are backstage.
