Despite repeated assurances from Liv Morgan that The Judgment Day remains a united front, signs of internal friction emerged on tonight’s episode of WWE Raw. A backstage segment revealed a disconnect between Morgan and her faction powerhouse, Raquel Rodriguez, regarding Rodriguez’s pursuit of the Women’s World Championship.
Morgan expressed surprise that Rodriguez had not run her plan by her before making a move for the title earlier in the night. Rodriguez, appearing unfazed, responded directly, stating she didn’t realize she needed to.
While Morgan quickly played down the interaction, claiming it was “cool” and that she wanted to see Rodriguez become champion, the exchange hinted at a shifting dynamic within the group. Rodriguez then left to speak with General Manager Adam Pearce, further establishing her own agenda.
Morgan pivoted her focus to Roxanne Perez, suggesting they could be the next WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, perhaps signaling a shift in her own priorities amid the tension.
Earlier in the evening, Rodriguez made a violent statement regarding her championship aspirations. During an in-ring segment involving Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer and Nikki Bella, Rodriguez interjected herself into the title picture.
Vaquer was addressing the crowd, asserting her dominance over the division and dismissing Bella’s relevance in the modern era. Bella interrupted, demanding a rematch following her loss at Survivor Series. Rodriguez then appeared, pulling Bella off the apron and launching her into the ring post with a lawn dart maneuver.
With Bella incapacitated, Rodriguez confronted Vaquer directly. She challenged the champion to name the time and place so she could take the title.
Despite the backstage tension, Morgan continued to operate as a disruptive force at ringside. She accompanied Roxanne Perez for her match against Lyra Valkyria, who was seconded by Bayley.
The match saw heavy interference. Morgan distracted the referee, allowing Perez to rake Valkyria’s eyes. Bayley attempted to neutralize Morgan but was knocked down by Perez.
The finish came when Perez shoved Valkyria into the ropes. Morgan, who was still on the apron, kicked Valkyria in the face while the referee’s back was turned. Perez capitalized on the illegal assist, hitting her Pop Rox finisher to secure the pinfall victory.
